About the game

SMod: Sandbox in Backrooms is a real-time sandbox simulator set in the Backrooms. Your task is to destroy as many monsters as possible, keep your points and climb the leaderboard. Quests are there to complete, and weapons are scattered around to find.

A round mixes two jobs: hunting down monsters and staying alive while you do it. The portal gun lets you spawn enemies yourself from the spawn panel, so you decide when the pressure rises. In between fights, you search for weapons and work through quests to add to your score.

How to play

• WASD moves, the mouse controls the camera, and Spacebar flies and jumps.
• Left mouse button shoots; Tab opens the monster spawn panel.
• On a phone, use the left joystick to move and the right side of the screen for the camera.
• On a phone, the gun icon shoots, the box icon opens the spawn panel, and the jump button handles flight and jumping.
